We are proud to offer you a very special tour, far away from the beaten tracks. Explore our country where the locals enjoy there time - skip the areas, where other tourists make you queuing up for hours.
58% of the countries surface are considered to be mountains. Besides the Alps (48%) and the Jura Mountains (10%), only 12% of the PreAlps and 30% of the Swiss plateau contain large housing development area.
Our mountains crest up to the eleveation of 4,634 m / 15,203 ft (Dufours peak). The lowest point on altitude is 193 m / 633 ft (Ascona).

On most trains you will be riding (long distance) you may travel 1 class. This is less crowded and you have more space (mostly 3 instead of 4 seats abreast).

Mountain trains and all city transportations do not offer 1st class services!

From this 2 "hombases", you can reach all the spots we offer you to explore with in 1:00, max. 2:00 hrs.  With this system, the tour is much more convenient for you.

  • Less luggage haul from one hotel to the other!
  • Depending on your mood and the weather, you may change your daily excursions at any time!
  • Unlike a "fixed program", we offer you more, additional options / destinations you can choose from!
  • Even this is a "Mountain-Trip", we offer you several day excursions which include visits to some of the most interesting citys of Switzerland

Niederhorn-Bernese Oberland german speaking part

Start with a trip across the Lake Thun - crest the Nieder-horn, the first section with a surface cable car, the rest with a aerial cable car.

Exursion 2)
Rochers-de-Naye  french speaking part
Your travel to Montreux with the famous Golden Pass Express through breathtanking scenery. Cresting up to the Rochers-de-Naye with a cog wheel train. Relish the breathtaking lookout over the Lake Geneva into the Swiss and French Alps. On your way back, stop at Montreux, Lausanne or Berne, as you prefere.

Exursion 3)
Schilthorn, Piz Gloria german speaking part
James Bond 007, was here before you. He was present at the inauguration of the first revolving restaurant. On your way back, enjoy the city of Interlaken. A unique Hands On Experiance is awaiting you in the funky chocolate club. For dinner, we suggest you the extraordinary Swiss Folk Dinner Show, at the restaurant "Spycher".

Exursion 4)
Zermatt, Matterhorn german speaking part

Today, you will visit the famous Zermatt and crest the Gornergrat, where you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery and views towards the Matterhorn. You may stay on the Gornergrat or in Zermatt as long as you wish.

To Zermatt, you will be traveling the old "Lötschberg-Route", using the summit tunnel with the marveles landscape. Back to your Hotel, you will be traveling through the new, modern Lötschberg-Base Tunnel.

Transfer to Zurich your bags will be transferd from the hotel to the next hotel in Zurich by Rail Services - you do not have to care about!
Ballenberg german speaking part

Before crossing the Brunigpass into the central part of Switzerland, the openair museum Ballenberg is the place to explore the different culture of Switzerland. A must! On the way to Zurich you will have to change the trains in Lucerne, your first possibility to explore this world famous tourist place.

Rigi Queen of the mountains german speaking part

Crest the Rigi with the blue cog wheel train from Arth Goldau. After relishing the panoramic view, not only into the alps but also towards France and Germany, you desent with the red train to Vitznau, from where a vessel of the Lake Lucerne navigation will transfer you to Lucerne, your second possibility to explore this world famous tourist place.

Parpaner Rothorn romanisch speaking part
For the last day of your stay in Switzerland, we have planed a marvelous journey to the Graubunden, the very eastern part of Switzerland. From Chur, you will be riding the Swiss postal bus service to Lenzerheide, where you change to the aerial cable car.

On your way back to Zurich, plan a stop in Chur, the oldests town in Switzerland. The old town is car free and well worth seeing it.

Niesen german speaking part

The Niesen peak is 2,362 metres (7,749 ft) in elevation.
It overlooks Lake Thun, in the Bernese Oberland region, and forms the northern end of a ridge that stretches north from the Albristhorn and Mannliflue, separating the Simmental and Kandertal valleys.
The Niesen funicular runs on steep metal rails, but there are no cogs. A metal cable running around two wheels, joins two separate wagons together. The 3'499 meter ascent is divided in two sections with two wagons playing the Mülenen-Schwandegg section and two between Schwandegg and Niesen Kulm.

Brienzer Rothorn german speaking part

It chugs, steams, screeches and smokes: Switzerland’s only daily steam rack railway has thrilled passengers since 1892. Come aboard, the Brienz Rothorn Railway will take you to the top, 2,362 metres (7,749 ft) in elevation.
It overlooks Lake Brienz and in the Bernese Oberland region.

Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe german speaking part

The majestic world of the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe at 3'454 m /11'333 ft. You reach Lauterbrunnen by train via Interlaken. Board the cog wheel train for the most interesting trip to Jungfraujoch - Europe's highest railway station. Enjoy the incredible world of eternal snow and ice. Visit the „Alpine Sensation“ a round-tour subway officially opened to mark the centenary of Jungfrau Railway, the Ice Palace, experience the breathtaking panorama view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace, overlooking the Aletsch Glacier (Europe’s longest glacier). The down hill trip takes you to Grindelwald where your connect to Interlaken, and back to the Hotel.

The southern part of Switzerland is also the sunny, warmer area of Switzerland. If the weather on the north side of the alps is bad, rainy, cold, you might enjoy an extra trip to the south. We have 2 options for this:

Locarno and Ascona

The Lake Maggiore region is an extremely rich tourist destination. From the quiet shores of the lake to the busy riverbanks, not to mention the rich gastronomic and cultural offering. Discovering Lake Maggiore and the surrounding landscapes on board of a boat of the “Navigazione del Lago Maggiore” is a unique experience.


Lugano and Melide

Visiting the city to contemplate a work of art or to attend a concert is always a fabulous experience. If you want to have an overview of Switzerland and spend a pleasant time in a fantastic region, don't miss Swissminiatur in Melide, an exciting place and an attraction for all those who want to visit our country.

Bellinzona + Valle Verzasca italien speaking part

On the way from Zurich to the southern part of Switzerland, you will be  traveling through the longest railway tunnel on the world, the Gotthard base tunnel. On the way back, your train trip will take you through one of the most scenic train trips, the crest and desent to the old summit tunnel, opend 1822 a.c.

Visitors can rediscover the historical past of Bellinzona by exploring its narrow streets and squares and visiting the three castles. They are listed as UNESCO World Culture Heritage, examples of incomparable power and virile beauty that recount centuries of history written by Romans and Longobards, Swiss and Milanese.
Due to its isolated location, the Verzasca Valley is claimed as one of the valleys that could best keep its originality. The secluded geographical location made it unattractive for conquerors since the Roman period, and even before.

Mount Titlis - Glacier Paradise german speaking part

An excursion to the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland. In Engelberg we board the aerial cableway for a 40 minutes trip to the high alpine glacier region. Enjoy a ride in the revolving „ROTAIR” gondola that takes you up to the summit at 3020 m (10’000 ft) overlooking the Swiss Alps. Snow and ice are guaranteed. During 2 hour stay on the mountain visit the Ice Grotto and if the weather allows ride the „Ice Flyer” the modern chairlift offering spectacular views into glacier crevasses and ice falls, walk over Europe’s highest suspension bridge „Titlis Cliff Walk” and sledge on snow, even in summer, on the „Fun Lift”. Return by coach via Lucerne (1 hour at leisure).
